At Rhetorical-Craft we are mainly concerned by delivering actionable tools. This being said, we also care a lot about the theory of rhetoric. Good practices have their roots in good concepts. I therefore encourage you to build your rhetorical culture and I might have something for you in this respect.
Have a look at the Mere Rhetoric Podcast and listen to some of their 5 to 10 minutes episodes about ideas and thinkers that contributed to the history of rhetoric. I especially recommend the episodes about dissoi logoi and about Chaïm Perelman. The author is Mary Hedengren, a rhetorical scholar at the University of Texas at Austin. She is doing a great job.
Listening to this podcast will help you develop your rhetorical skill, that is, your ability to put a theoretical eye on persuasion.
